I’m BTP Liam and Joe and I's hard work, both in the great outdoors and back at home, brings the unseen history of the landscapes we grew up in into your home. Aside from local history and exploring, I have many interests. I am currently studying History at the University of Exeter. My interests are varied although they lie mainly in British history of the 19th and 20th Century, with a great focus on military history and the home front. I am very passionate that the sights, sounds, and objects from life in the past is what gets people hooked - it is these small-scale micro and local histories which reflect national and global change, politics, and leaders. Aside from my interests in history, I am also interested in art and model making. I have produced some of the murals along Canvey Island's seawall, and sometimes make historic models of the heritage sites remaining today. I am a keen musician with an avid interest in the Blues and its history.
